Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, human genetics, or computer science (machine-learning oriented).
- Rigorous data analytical skills in both Python and R.
- Experienced in various omics data modalities.
- Highly curious about science, especially human genetics.
- Solid writing and presentation skills.
- Big plus for hands-on experience applying machine/deep learning to genetics.
- Big plus for hands-on experience in graph theory or graph data structure.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific discoveries in a given project.
- Implement the full research proposal computationally.
- Interpret results, write papers, prepare slides, and deliver seminars.
- Mediate the communications between collaborators.
- Flexible to adapt to urgent tasks on occasion.
